Fluffy homemade chocolate biscuits. Snack Recipe

When my nephews come home, our preparation of pastry recipes increases a lot because we want to accustom them to take spongy homemade cakes and not the typical industrial ones. Therefore, this week we have prepared some fluffy homemade chocolate biscuits in different individual formats that they liked very much.

In addition, as we have used small molds and the rings of plating, with the same amount that would have been given to make a large cake, we have prepared 10 biscuits of different sizes that have facilitated their dosage. The different shapes and sizes have also been good to give each one its corresponding decoration. Then you will see the photos of the whole process. As you see, nothing happens if you don't have pastry molds because with imagination you can solve.

Ingredients for 10 homemade biscuits of different sizes

  • 150 ml of oil and 300 ml of water at room temperature, 3 medium eggs, 325 g of pastry flour, an envelope of Royal type chemical yeast, a pinch of salt, 75 gr of cocoa powder, 100 g of sugar

How to make 10 homemade chocolate sponge cakes

We put the water and oil in a jar and reserve it. In a bowl mix the eggs with the sugar and beat until well mixed for about five minutes. Add the cocoa and flour and mix well.

With some rods or helped by a good blender, we add the water and oil while we beat to get a creamy dough, quite thick but fluid. Preheat the oven to 160º and prepare a baking tray with a baking paper.

We prepare the plating rings, molds of different sizes and even the cups to make custards by placing them on the baking paper, so that we can quickly fill them with the dough and put them to bake before the dough comes out below the different biscuits that have no bottom.

After a approximate time of 40 minutes, probably the smallest ones will be ready and the bigger ones will need a few more minutes of cooking. Go out of the oven when they are ready, without leaving the door open for a long time so that the biscuits that are not yet finished are not lowered.

The tranquility that brings homemade chocolate biscuits for our children's snack, is tremendous. So we are sure that they do not take more fat or more products than we use to make this simple pastry recipe. As they are small biscuits, you will eat them without realizing it. They endure a week perfectly, better if you store them in a can so they don't dry out.
