Santillana, through its network for education professionals Inevery Crea Y Channel + present the pioneer project Movies at School. The educational proposal will be developed in 2014 using the film as a reference Living is easy with your eyes closed. (in the image). It is a global educational project that uses the movie theater how learning tool, which fosters among students the taste for films, knowledge of artistic language and knowledge of cinematographic techniques.
In the project participate 16 teachers from different curricular areas of 8 centers in Spain and the US and is coordinated from Spain by Professor Carmen González (Marist Champagnat School) and from the USA by Professor Raúl González (Trinity Palmer School). To review the movie Living is easy with your eyes closed., Spanish students will have free access to the film using the distribution channels of Canal +.
Between the pedagogical objectives The project is to connect bilingual centers from different countries to work basic skills, also learn through cooperative work curricular contents of different areas enriched with the value that the cinematographic language brings. Another objective is to promote cultural and linguistic exchange through interaction between students of the different centers and of course train viewers prepared to recognize the value of cinema as a cultural heritage.
We remember that Inevery Crea It is the social network for Santillana education professionals who share projects and create original content. It is based on a social software platform, which integrates into the same architecture: knowledge management, informal learning, collaborative work and social networks.
