A Californian artist decorates the baby's corrective helmets with an incredible result

Plagiocephaly or flat head syndrome is quite common in small children today, it occurs due to the combination of bones that have not yet formed and a long time in the same posture, the skull is deformed and correction is necessary. Fortunately, the problem has a simple solution and can be corrected. This is done with a kind of helmets that are placed around the head and prevent it from continuing to deform while making everything return to its place.

The problem is that like every piece of orthopedics, these cases are usually ugly to rage. In fact, I am sure that its manufacturers give thanks that their patients do not know how to speak and do not have the slightest concern about the latest shout in today's locker room. They wanted to see them with 14-year-old patients. Well, it looks like Paula Strawn, a Californian artist, decorates the baby's corrective helmets with an incredible result.

Her peculiar work began when a friend, horrified by her son's orthopedic helmet, begged her to try something to improve it and make it more "wearable," aesthetically speaking, and she did so. The result is being a success and their designs are becoming very famous.

Paula, charges about 25 euros per hour and takes four to seven hours on average per helmet being able to capture almost any design that comes your way. Here we bring you some of his funniest designs, but on his facebook page you can find many more.
