Back to school: touch rearrange schedules

During the holidays, as is normal and expected, the schedules relax. Not having to go to school, they get up later, eat and have dinner at different times, and also go to bed at times that during the rest of the year would give us a nervous breakdown if they are not sleeping.

But the here is already back to school and we have to prepare the ground to go back into routine without ending up heading in the corners: it's time to rearrange schedules.

The ideal is start a few days before resuming the schedules that you will have in your school routine. Or at least, get closer every day to that schedule. That is, if your little ones have to wake up at eight and now they are doing it at ten, go getting them up half an hour earlier each day.

To do this, they must also go to bed half an hour before, so that they sleep the hours they need to sleep. It is the most difficult, since they have become accustomed to the day lengthens until the many of the night.

Try also to start returning to the usual meal times, as well as snack and dinner. In this way, your body will be regulated little by little so that the change of schedules of the return to school is not so sudden.

So that going to bed is not a drama, try make them a routine at night: bath, dinner and bedtime. They will need a lot of patience, with stories, music and a relaxed atmosphere so that the revolutions of a whole day of games go down. If he is not sleepy, the child will not fall asleep no matter how much you tell him, but at least accompany him in that moment of relaxation.

Going back to early rises is very hard for everyone, when it's time to rearrange schedules nobody likes it too much. But then going back to school will be easier for them, although the first few days they go to school that look like bodies, poor things.

Therefore, a lot of dedication and perseverance on the part of the parents so that again to immerse ourselves in the routines is as traumatic as possible for the entire family.
