David the gnome returns to television, if only one day

Surely there is no adult person who is not able to say that "I am seven times stronger than you, and fast, and I am always in good smoke," which we all remember from one of the most mythical series of our childhood: David the Gnome.

These days they talk about it again because the series turns 25 here in Spain. Spanish Television broadcast it for the first time in 1985 and to celebrate the 25th anniversary the First will issue a feature-based series this fall that many remember with nostalgia and sympathy, and will do so at 3:30 p.m., just at the time when the drawings were broadcast at that time.

The argument of the series is known to all. David the gnome was a 399-year-old doctor who had to go with his briefcase wherever it was needed, on the back of his fox Swift or on top of migratory birds. During his travels he had to deal with various dangers, among which were the famous trolls (whom I remember with the hanging mucus), which were his worst enemies.

Now, 25 years later, Carlos Biern, executive vice president of BRB, the company that created the series, remembers that golden age in which the Spanish animated series had a lot of prominence. Now there is a lot to choose from and, in fact, the children themselves choose because many have television in their room. Further, "The children age very quickly. Before, at eight years old they used to follow Teresa Rabal or Parcheesi. Now that does not like even those who are three years old. They become teenagers much earlier"comments.

The truth is that if I see that movie, it will have been many years since I saw the adventures of David the Gnome, since the last time I saw it on the small screen was the day it turned into a tree (unfortunately for many children we did not understand why), and that is many years.

There are many series that I remember from childhood and the truth is that I keep a very good memory. Do you think our children will have these same feelings when they grow up about the drawings they see today?
