A paper publication aimed at children that imitates in some way the newspapers of the elderly has just been born, it is about The Seeker. This initiative aims to promote the habit of reading in children from 6 to 14 years, the new newspaper is a pioneer in our country, because until now there had been no publication of these characteristics.
In its edition there are different specialized professionals, journalists, psychologists, doctors, lawyers, psychiatrists, etc., the idea is to explain to the children the most outstanding news but appropriate to their understanding, and thus understand what is happening today giving them the opportunity to express your opinion about it. Each month the Valencian kiosks will offer El Buscapiés, 24 pages full of information that seeks to capture children's interest, the fact that it is a newspaper will be a means to motivate them to read by imitating parents when they read it.
At the moment El Buscapiés appears timidly in Valencia offering 5,000 copies every month, although it is expected to expand the circulation to 10,000 copies and offer reading to the entire province of Alicante. Hobbies, society, culture, theater or film offers, we have found it a very interesting initiative, we hope it is really effective and introduces children to reading.
