The choice of clothes

Have you been wrong already buying clothes for your child? That beautiful dress was filed in the wardrobe because your girl has used it only once? All of us at some time have chosen incorrectly. Here we tell you some tricks to keep in mind so that your child's clothes are appropriate.

Choose the child's clothes taking into account health, comfort, convenience and pleasure: do not choose it simply to please your tastes. It must be done in such a way that you do not realize that you are wearing it; It must be simple, easy to wash, suitable for the weather, light weight, not bulky, wide enough for your comfort and without tight belts. Also, your child should like it, because he may feel self-conscious if he wears clothes that he doesn't like.

When choosing it, ask yourself: can my child play freely with it on ?; Will it be quite warm ?; Will it allow the free development of the body, blood circulation, muscle activity ?; Can it be easily put on and taken off and will not present difficulties in the toilet ?; Can it be washed well and will it be durable ?; Will my son like me? Do not buy items that cost ironing. In fact, the ideal is to buy only clothes that do not need ironing. Remember also that the ideal is to acquire garments that are easy to combine with each other; with some models that combine (and with little money!) you ensure an interesting wardrobe.

Buy enough clothes, neither too much nor too little; In this way you will avoid having to watch out for washing and your child will always have something to wear. He thinks that the boys get very dirty and that, normally, you have to change them daily, or even twice a day.

Cotton fabric is good for underwear, as it maintains body heat, easily absorbs perspiration, dries quickly, allows air to penetrate to the skin, resists frequent washing and can be boiled, does not require ironing, lasts long enough and is elastic enough to give in when the child moves. Soft cotton fabrics, being so fresh, are suitable for summer. In colder climates, wool and cotton or wool and silk fabrics can be used.

Check the seams of all underwear before purchasing a garment, particularly on the armholes and crotch; They should be soft, as wrinkles irritate the skin. Make sure that all seams are sturdy as children play freely and actively and should not be bothered by the fear of breaking a garment.

Finally, remember: as your child grows, he needs to run, climb, crawl, jump, move freely, play, and the clothes he wears should contribute to the satisfaction of this need; Don't reprimand it if it gets dirty.
