Seeing her, the adoptive parents rejected the baby and her biological mother did not hesitate to keep her

Life sometimes confronts us with unexpected situations that make us completely change our life, and although we think it is a stick, we eventually realize that it has been a blessing. That is what has happened to Christina Fisher, a 36-year-old mother, who had made the very hard decision to give her baby up for adoption.

At birth, the plans did not go as planned, Fortunately. Seeing that the girl was born with a malformation, the adoptive parents rejected the baby, however her biological mother did not hesitate to keep her.

Abigail Lynn was going to be adopted by a couple from Georgia (United States), but when she was born his adoptive parents changed their minds. “How deformed it is,” said the adoptive mother when she saw her for the first and last time. They immediately left the hospital because they were not the baby they were waiting for.

The girl suffers from Treacher Collins syndrome, a congenital anomaly characterized by a deformation of the skull and face that had not been detected on ultrasound. Despite the anomalies, doctors have said that the girl can lead a normal life.

The birth mother made the decision to give it up for adoption because her situation was very precarious and she did not conceive of the possibility of abortion. He had another daughter and could not afford to raise two girls living in a caravan parking lot. But at birth and being rejected by the adoptive parents, she did not feel able to leave her helpless. He immediately took care of the girl and does not regret his decision:

"I was not prepared to take care of Abigail, but now I cannot conceive my life without my daughters."

He decided to make his story known through these beautiful photos taken by Oksana Perry in order to raise funds for the care of the girl.
