We attended the presentation of the Bugaboo Runner, the new car for parents who run

Running is in vogue and that is already undeniable: the tendency to adopt healthier lifestyle habits, including frequent exercise, is increasingly common, even among those with very young children. Thinking about that Bugaboo has just launched its new version 'Runner', a stroller designed for go jogging with the little one without him or the car having a strong impact due to the movements of the exercise. If you are one of those who practice it, surely you were waiting for it ...

The Bugaboo Runner has been designed as a complete stroller for running (with its own chair and adapters), and as a separate accessory for the current owners of a Bugaboo stroller (with its own adapters).

The newest thing about this car is that it has a new fixed three-wheeled base, two of them with an air chamber and a suspension system designed to absorb any bump in the road. A brake along the entire handlebar allows you to control the speed and stop with one hand.

The hood is waterproof (although it includes the rain cover like the other Bugaboo models), and is available in oil blue. In addition to the corresponding harness It has a restraint so that the child can hold on to it And feel more secure.

It is recommended to go jogging with your child (from 9 months) looking at you or looking out.

Our impressions of the Bugaboo Runner

In the presentation we could see that it is much lighter than it seemsSo handling it is quite easy. As for the folding I know that it is very good, since it can be made quite compact (you can remove the wheels in an easy way to make it even smaller), so that it fits in the trunk of any car.

Although we have not thoroughly tested it, yes we were able to maneuver it a bit and it is definitely a car to run and not to walk, since its design is precisely designed to facilitate the movement of someone who is running because when walking it seems a little less light. It is a product to fully fulfill the work for which it was designed.

Another good news is that you can attach the Bugaboo Cameleon³, Bugaboo Bee (as of the 2010 model), Bugaboo Donkey or Bugaboo Buffalo to the base of the Bugaboo Runner, so if you are already a user of the brand, you don't have to buy the whole car.

The Bugaboo Runner with all its accessories

The Bugaboo Runner chassis (includes adapters) is priced at € 400, and the Bugaboo Runner as a full stroller is priced at € 710 (includes chassis, chair and adapters).
